Why an NGO arm
A great deal of AI capability today is built for commercial customers who can pay. Many domains that would benefit most — public health, environmental work, education, community-scale operations — sit outside that funnel. The Applied AI Foundation exists to shift that.
We do not chase scale. We pick small, durable projects where AI agents can carry real workload for organisations that cannot afford a dedicated engineering team.
